The New Jersey Compensation Rating & Inspection Bureau (NJCRIB) implemented electronic reporting of workers’ compensation first reports of injury (FROI) and subsequent reports of injury (SROI) using the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC) Release 3 standard. EDI reporting using the Release 3 standard is required for all trading partners (insurers, self-insured employers, and claims administrators).
Additional information about the Release 3 standard can be found online at the IAIABC website: http://www.iaiabc.org
NJCRIB has contracted with Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) to manage its FROI/SROI reporting. ISO will be administering the registration of trading partners, testing, and data collection and submission of EDI data.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding implementation of EDI FROI/SROI reporting in New Jersey, please contact ISO at firstname.lastname@example.org
